Assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing marketing programs, Field Marketing at Dell Technologies is at the forefront of customer engagement. Responsible for a specific location, department or product, our teams drive marcom strategy – from making budget recommendations to defining roadmaps and informing content themes. Interacting directly with customers and utilizing third-party customer data, they provide Dell’s product marketing and messaging team with game-changing feedback. At the highest level, they develop and drive marketing policies and activities, from market research through brand management and product development to pricing.

What you’ll achieve

As a Distribution Field Marketing Snr Advisor , you will work on the development and execution of the go-to-market field marketing plans to support specific growth initiatives, localizing and adapting global content and programs that achieve sales demand.

You will make a significant contribution to achieving our Italian business goals through:

  • Understanding go-to-market and distribution marketing & sales strategies for the country and then developing, implementing and executing marketing programs and projects that align with those strategies and broader business priorities.

  • Interacting, meeting and influencing with Dell Authorized Distributors to enhance, create and implement marketing strategies, plans and activities that drive Distribution Sell thu, increase pipeline and meet our revenue goals

  • Managing properly MDF budget in order to maximize Sell Thru and Pipeline return.

  • Managing outsourced agencies to deliver key local distribution activities (events, incentives, webinars), leveraging the regional and central marketing resources and programs, and providing proactive feedback to the EMEA central marketing team

  • Driving collaboration across multiple functions including distributors, Italian country marketing team, distribution account managers and inside partner account managers to operate as one team and contribute to regular distribution and Marketing QBR and readiness reviews.

Essential requirements

  • Experience: 8-10 years relevant distribution marketing experience

  • Strong knowledge of business and marketing strategy thru distributors, concepts tools and techniques, including online marketing, direct marketing, promotions, customer relations and advertising in the technological sector and with channel

  • Very good presentation and executive communication skills, Italian mother tongue and fluent in English.

  • Strong ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams/work groups.

  • Good analytical ability and financial understanding
