We answer questions about the installation, operation, configuration, customization and use of Dell Technologies products. For critical matters, we use our systems to provide remote diagnostic technical support on Enterprise Hyper-Converged Infrastructures and Software Defined Storage Solutions. If there’s an issue with a customer’s product, we’ll analyze it, identify the cause, recommend a solution and document the problem.

What you’ll achieve

As a Technical Support Senior Engineer , you will resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced, customer critical environment, working on improving processes, standards and strategies to perfect our Support Services.

You will:

  • Serve as a senior resource in the team (provide mentoring, scrub cases and advise your colleagues…) and be the first level of escalation for your colleagues.

  • Deliver 1st tier remote resolution for advanced Software Defined Storage customer escalations through troubleshooting, research, environment replication & identification of workarounds.

  • Provide top-of-the-class customer service, through effective and timely communication, appropriate expectations setting and highest degree of respect.

  • Resolve issues while working closely with multi-functional and diverse teams.

  • Set on a path of continuous improvement through technical and/or soft skills trainings, securing relevant industry certifications.

Essential Requirements:

  • Three to five years of enterprise level VMware vSphere and Linux experience, particularly within large data centre environments.

  • Advanced VMware vSphere knowledge, VCAP-DCA and/or VCAP-DCD certification would be highly desirable.

  • Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following: NSX, vRealize, VMware Virtual SAN, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SuSE Enterprise Linux.

  • Industry certifications: VCP, RHCSA, VSAN Badge, CCENT, Associate PE DEA, Specialist PE DES.

  • Ability to speak English is a requirement.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Ability to speak another European language would be a definite advantage.
