Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides direction and guidance/mentor to team members and coaches others in closing the most complex deals.

  • If account/acquisition focused individual responsible for highest revenue spend in business and/or account complexity within assigned business. Fully adept in products and services.

  • Advanced level specialized sales representative, influencing how others engage and interact across the segment. Advanced understanding of subject matter.

  • Organizes senior internal/external resources in response to, and in anticipation of customer needs.

  • Maintains relationships at executive leadership and departmental levels to lead to new business opportunities.

  • Utilizes strategic probing to identify, evaluate, and recommend highly complex alternative technology solutions.

  • Understands and leverages solutions and can explain how complex multi-faceted solutions will benefit the overall business.

Essential Requirements:

  • Provides product or BU specific expertise.

  • May own account sets and/ or be called into accounts as opportunities are identified.

  • Acts as a technical resource to support the sales organization to meet and/or exceed their objectives.

  • Identifies customer needs/ requirements, and recommends the appropriate products and solutions.

  • Provides pre-sales technical support during the sales process.

  • Remains up-to-date on new product, technology, and services offerings.

  • Stays current on industry and vertical solutions as well.
