The Asset Service Delivery Manager (ASDM) will be responsible for being an active consultative resource and will establishing and implementing process and efficiencies. The ASDM will act as the single point of contact, facilitating regular communication and interoperability between different internal and external stakeholders (customers, services teams, account teams, third party vendors). Furthermore, the ASDM will be responsible for coordination and management of cross-functional teams and resources to ensure successful solution release and deployment within client-site data centers. The ASDM will also be involved in account-wide continual process improvement, leading to a higher and more streamlined level of overall EMC service delivery. As the part of ASDM team, candidates will be involved in process analysis and integration of standards to merge current account-based practices and requirements with the Practice standards and processes.

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate planning and implementation, including learning and assessing current account-specific practices and requirements and leading effort to incorporate the Practice model standards to merge, and integrate across both Fully Managed IMS and OPS Utility models

  • Verifies and analyzes the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by project; resolves any discrepancies or problems

  • Serves as liaison for department; coordinates activities and exchanges information internally, with client, and data center locations

  • Establishes regular communications, touch-point meetings, reporting, etc; monitors, reviews, and evaluates all EMC OPS owned assets for the full life of the asset from procurement through EOSL Decommissions

  • Participates in capacity and project forecasting planning and development and able to communicate forecast to internal and external sources

  • Coordinates and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary

  • Monitors, drives, record keeping and file maintenance for the program or project

  • Supervises other project staff; assigns tasks; sets priorities

  • The ASDM will act as the primary liaison and owner of asset data for the life of EMC-owned, on-prem assets

  • Serves as a single point of contact and liaison per assigned accounts; performing process research and integration, analyzing information, providing documentation, and maintaining required tracking and reporting and pertinent communication.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of process service delivery methodologies such as critical path planning

  • Ability to conceptualize and organize project planning process

  • Ability to accurately review and complete detail-oriented information, process integration investigation, and project specific deliverables

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of computers and database/spreadsheet/ word processing software

  • Ability to take responsibility and function under minimal supervision

  • Ability to work with wide range of resources at varied corporate levels
