You have experience collaborating with business leaders cross-functionally on a variety of people-related matters and challenges. You see the important of gaining a deep understanding of the business you support and tailor your solutions to their needs. You are comfortable with using your creativity to experiment and develop resolutions to complex problems that may rise in the groups that you support. You are experienced in effectively managing employee relations matters.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work with colleagues both within and outside of HR, giving you exposure to many different styles, experiences and philosophies for providing support to employees around the globe. You will act as the HR Business Partner for various business teams within our Customer Success Organization. You will consult and partner with management on topics such as people development, change management, proper performance management, compensation assessments, coaching and training. This role’s contributions will fundamentally impact the development of Pivotal’s mission executed through effective HR programs and processes.
Required Skills / Experiences
Empathy, emotional intelligence and a passion for people
At least 2 years of experience as an HR Business Partner supporting business teams
Experience supporting/managing HR programs
Broad knowledge of HR concepts
Strong analytical skills
Effective communication skills both verbal and written
Project management skills

Please Note: This role will be located in either our Washington DC or NYC office. Much of Pivotal's work in the East region is with Federal Government customers that require our employees involved with their projects be U.S. citizens. As such, this role requires U.S. citizenship.
