Your Day

Every day is different, but the common denominator is that your team carefully curates the experience for everyone walking through the door - from fellow Pivots to clients to recruits to vendors. You will strategize and dive into the details on a daily basis to keep your team moving in the right direction. Your first focus always goes to your team and will include daily touches and regular check-ins to see that your team is well tuned and on track. You’re the on-site relationship manager, and will partner with the global Real Estate & Brand Experience team, key cross-functional stakeholders, and local office leadership to effectively keep all parties informed and productive. You’ll manage projects from small to big, often having to do with facilities management, office moves, construction projects, food and beverage, internal events, security, and developing or implementing systems. Every transaction and interaction will be through a hospitality lens with exceptional service being the top priority.

Required Skills / Experiences

  • Exceptional service skills with a hospitality mindset

  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills - to a detailed level

  • Superb communication skills: non-verbal, verbal and written

  • Ability to act on your feet and problem solve

  • Highly developed soft skills needed for managing people effectively; lead and inspire a team

  • A practical sense and ability to implement

  • Ability to build, nurture, and maintain relationships with senior leadership

  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others

  • Master of juggling multiple projects and demands while efficiently prioritizing

  • Advanced to expert level experience in: event planning; vendor management; facilities management; project management; space planning and office moves; financial statement analysis

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs (18kg)

Desired Skills / Experiences

  • 4-6 years experience in hospitality, customer service/support, corporate facilities or related field

  • The ability to maintain composure and positivity through less than perfect circumstances

  • Experience with google mail/calendaring and its accompanying applications

  • Knowledge of: corporate purchasing system; ask@ticket system; employee health and safety guidelines

  • Strong computer skills and the leaning toward technology vs paper

  • Experience in a startup, fast paced environment
