What you’ll achieve
As a Technical Product Manager, you will identify new growth areas, technologies and emerging product/service opportunities. You will conduct in-depth market analysis to optimize existing products/solutions and build next generation products, partnering closely with the Engineering and Product Management teams to build a product road map and align product strategies for the business.

Your primary responsibility is to drive product planning and strategy across feature disciplines with a focus on federal requirements, serviceability, data reduction and data replication
Identify scale-out NAS market requirements, trends and opportunities
Create and groom feature backlog
Work with engineering to ensure features are clearly understood
Help define the unstructured data cross-portfolio strategy
Champion PowerScale in strategic meetings with customers and partners
Collaborate with Business stakeholders and Senior Engineers on design/creation/positioning for highly available and scalable Network Attached Storage products
Author strategy docs, white papers, market research and vision documents along with user stories for current and future products
Present strategic product communications across multiple stakeholder organizations
Essential Requirements :
A good understanding of scale-out NAS: Federal requirements, serviceability needs, data replication and data reduction requirements
At least 6 years’ experience in Technical Product Management, Field SE or equivalent experience
Ability to define user personas, use cases, requirements and acceptance criteria
Experience working with engineering teams to articulate requirements and review acceptance criteria
Experience with key storage and application performance metrics
Proven ability to work cross-functionally
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field of study (e.g. engineering, computer science, math, science) or equivalent experience
Good understanding of the entire IT stack from applications to storage and end-to-end solutions
Prior experience with Isilon/PowerScale
Good understanding of markets and customer use cases in industries such as HPC, M&E, Biosciences, Financial Services
Ability to travel about 10 - 15% of the time (when it is deemed safe to do so)
