Product Management Consultant
Showcasing excellence and innovation at every stage, Product Management is responsible for the cross-functional management of products or solutions through their entire lifecycle. Using a wealth of technical and industry experience, we work across functional areas to implement our products or solutions. In this role you will lead the product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities. Take lead of scrum teams as the Product Manager by providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project. You will collaborate with stakeholders and Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value ROI to define features and requirements and incorporate feature requests into product roadmaps.

What you’ll achieve
Containers are redefining how developers and DevOps are building, deploying, and running their applications. As a Product Management consultant in containers space, you will identify new growth areas, technologies and emerging product/service opportunities. You will conduct in-depth market analysis to optimize existing products/solutions and build next generation products, partnering closely with the Engineering and Product Management teams to build a product road map and align product strategies for the business.
• Manage products throughout their entire lifecycle
• Support business case for improvements or new products
• Capture and manage requirements and provide a simple interpretation
• Drive preparation for external and internal product events
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Master’s Degree a plus
Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in Software development or DevOps philosophy.
Experience with scheduling and cluster management technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Understand industry trends and anticipate future needs for Agile development
Solid grasp of business goals and objectives as they relate to customer use cases and solutions
Excellence in understanding competitors and their products as well as potential partner relationships for the product
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence others and work effectively in a cross-functional team
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile development environment and manage multiple, concurrent priorities and projects
Experience in working on cloud or as-a-service offerings both from a business strategy and technical perspective
Experience with Cloud Computing
5 to 8 years of product management experience with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments
