Sales Operations Consultant - Business Planning

Our Sales Operations team is at the heart of developing sales processes and procedures for administering, fulfilling and communicating both online and offline orders. A bridge between sales and other operational functions, we use our peerless expertise to evaluate and implement improvements to sales programs and processes – from planning and prioritization to pricing and margin strategies, sales automation, reporting and more. Put simply, we make sure the process of getting our ground-breaking products and services to customers as simple and seamless as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather account intelligence data to select & prioritize key accounts

  • Business partner with sales to review & critique account plans

  • Generate reporting to support account planning

  • Build bottoms-up model based on historicals

  • Align on BU strategic priorities

  • Consolidate division & overlay responses

  • Generate monthly capacity report by managed territory & by sales role type for investments

  • Forecast demand & team workload

  • Analyze output to determine course of action (i.e., build, reduce, reallocate capacity)

  • Business partner with sales to review capacity metrics, opportunities, & risks

  • Generate other reporting to support capacity planning

  • Business partner with sales to develop strategic priorities for managed territories

  • Identify critical enablers, opportunities, & risks

  • Track incentive plans for effectiveness, review results, & update plans

  • Work with sales to develop action plans to implement

  • Generate reports & perform analysis

  • Business partner with sales to develop project plan & timeline for strategic transformation initiatives

  • Build PMO structure, governance model & scorecards for strategic transformational initiatives

  • Manage & advise on strategic transformational initiative projects

  • Implement strategic transformational initiatives

  • Report on strategic transformational initiatives

Essential Requirements

  • Significant sales planning experience

  • Confidence to manage stakeholders

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python

  • Ability to analyze detailed information and draw accurate conclusions

  • Strong strategic planning abilities.
