Inside Product Specialist – Oklahoma City, OK

Dell Technologies is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. The Global Compute and Networking organization is hiring an Inside Product Specialist who has strong organizational, planning, and communication skills with a track record of building successful customer relationships in a team environment. The Inside Product Specialist will work collaboratively with a cross functional inside sales teams, providing pre-sales technical support in order to build new business relationships and increase sales with prospects. This role will be dedicated to providing pre-sales technical support of solutions, products, and services that help customer with varying needs of complexity and will be based in our offices located in Oklahoma City.

Key Responsibilities

-Provides direction and guidance/mentor to team members and coaches others in closing the most complex deals

-If account/acquisition focused individual responsible for highest revenue spend in business and/or account complexity within assigned business

-Fully adept in products and services

-Advanced level specialized sales representative, influencing how others engage and interact across the segment

-Advanced understanding of subject matter

-Organizes senior internal/external resources in response to, and in anticipation of customer needs

-Maintains relationships at executive leadership and departmental levels to lead to new business opportunities

Essential Requirements

-Uses advanced knowledge to build customer relationships and assist customers in developing business solutions using Dell specialized products and services

-Advanced level of competency in providing total solutions and providing cross segment teamwork

-Exhibits a detailed knowledge of multiple or related industries as well as an acute business understanding

-Gains industry certifications

-Typically requires 2+ years of related experience in a relationship selling role with a Bachelor’s degree
