Responsible for a set of products and services, they get to know their portfolio inside and out. Our Inside Sales teams rely on them for technical advice during the sales process. They directly advise customers on everything from product features and configurations, through to pricing and availability. Crucially, however complex the question, they’re ready to deliver technical solutions to meet customers’ needs via phone, chat, web or email.

Key Responsibilities

-Utilizes strategic probing to identify, evaluate, and recommend highly complex alternative technology solutions

-Organizes senior internal/external resources in response to, and in anticipation of customer needs

-Advanced understanding of subject matter

-Advanced level specialized sales representative, influencing how others engage and interact across the segment

-Provides direction and guidance to team members and coaches others in closing the most complex deals

-If account/acquisition focused individual responsible for highest revenue spend in business and/or account complexity within assigned business

-Identifies and engages senior cross functional resources, regardless of geographic location, in order to achieve goal/meet customer needs

Essential Requirements

-Uses strong knowledge base to build customer relationships and assist customers in developing business solutions using Dell specialized products and services

-Strong level of competency in providing total solutions and providing cross segment teamwork

-Exhibits a broad based knowledge of multiple or related industries as well as an acute business understanding

-Gains industry certification

-Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and or experience in Relationship Selling
