Dell is looking for a senior security Developerto take part in a once in a career opportunity to be part of building something from scratch and shepherding it into the marketplace.
The Senior Security Developerwill be a key member of a brand new, built from the ground up, high poweredOttawa R&D team. The team will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing a technology new to Dell for addressing the demands of the 5G Radio subsystem for operators and to help our customers to exploit this significant market evolution. The candidate for this role will have experiencein Security Development Lifecycles (SDLC) based on standards such as IEC62443-4.1, ISO/IEC 27034-1:2011, ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 27002:2013, in a Telco wireless 4G/5G development organization.
From applied research to advanced engineering, Dell’s 5G R&D team will design and develop ground-breaking products & solutions. It’s a fascinating field of work. You will be involved in assessing the competition, developing technology and products and generating intellectual property. Your contributions will drive product architecture and implementation, all while you will work with colleagues across the business to ensure Dell products always lead the way.
Experience in Security Development Lifecycles (SDLC) based on standards such as IEC62443-4.1, ISO/IEC 27034-1:2011, ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 27002:2013
Implementation and development of the SDLC including development, training and compliance across the organization including items such as
Coordinating PEN testing and getting third parties engaged
Static code analysis best practices
Removing banned functions
Security vulnerabilities lifecycle (Keep up to date, response to issues, patch etc) for our OSs, Stacks, open source SW, etc
Alignment to standards and government certification in and when needed.
Experience working in a Telecom embedded development team
Knowledge and experience SDLC tools, implementations and standards
Knowledge of security standards and interfaces
Organized, goal-oriented, self-starter, with a team focused mentality
Typicaly requires 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
