It’s hard to put a price on driving human progress, but when you’re operating in a competitive business environment, you need innovative pricing strategies. Our Pricing team within Sales Operations is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating these strategies. We conduct research and competitive pricing analysis and monitor the ongoing business environment to ensure Dell maintains a competitive market position.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the large bid pricing review and approval process for the CSG business unit, supporting North America Commercial.

  • Support preparation of tender pricing and manage approval process via the GOAL tool

  • Communicate recommendations to senior management team

  • Develop creative and innovative pricing solutions and strategies

  • Determine optimal price point, bidding techniques, products, configurations and manufacture/logistic arrangements for RFQ responses

  • Optimize T&Cs, perform risk assessment and ensure opportunities are constructed and revenue recognized in accordance with accounting policies. Flag risks and ensure non-standard terms and/or structure are recorded, approved and priced

  • Financial modeling resulting in the most accurate financial view of the tender response (deal P&L) including but not limited to upsells, forward costs, penalties, scenarios etc.

  • Understand and review results of our RFQ responses (post mortem and win/loss analyses) and provide the analysis to management teams. Ensure a sound understanding of the reasons for wins and losses

Essential Requirements

  • Strong command of English (excellent written and oral communication skills)

  • 5 years of working experience in Finance, Marketing or Business Operation, most preferable with experience in IT / Hardware industry

  • Degree in Accounting, System, electric Industrial Engineering or Economics

  • Proactive professional, with good communication skills (oral and written)

  • Experience of working in a fast moving, high volume environment with tight deadlines/pressure and ability to prioritize accordingly

  • Proven business acumen with good financial awareness

  • Proven persuasive and negotiation skills, tenacious

  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented, at ease with numbers

  • Ability to work independently, flexible, adaptable to change, able to learn on the fly and be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity

Desirable Requirements

  • Access, SQL and Power BI will be a plus.

  • Project Managment
