  • The Rebates Controller will provide analytical and controllership support for rebate spend in region. This will include AOP, outlooks, closes, payments, and general controllership for the regional and global programs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Rebates Spend Planning and Analytics: This role will lead the Channel Rebates annual plan and outlook processes for Finance for the region, partnering with the various other internal teams (Global Programs, Channel and Commercial Finance, Channel and FP&A). Analysis on rebates spending will span across sub-regions, business unit, and product, and will look at buckets of spend by Dell EMC Partner Programs, regional and global programs.

  • Rebate Payments and Accruals: Will work with the Rebates Finance Director in support of the quarterly accruals, quarterly payments, and give analytical support of actual results. This will require proper analysis, documentation, and controls and have a robust reconciliation between accruals, payments, and eligible revenue.

  • Regional Controllership and Governance: Coordinate governance with controllers and business unit for rebate spend and breakdown by program. The appropriate governance model will require regional budget targets, managing regional spend to be complimentary of the global program with the appropriate returns, and having the right level and frequency of reporting to manage within targets. The role will also need to ensure the right control environment around all aspects of rebate spend.

  • Ad-hoc analysis – Analysis by program such as impact to business drivers, ROI on tiers & products, and regional Net Margins as needed.

Essential Requirements:

  • Finance Qualification, with 8 + years’ experience, with superior financial analytical skills and financial acumen

  • Strong drive for results with ability to work remotely and with minimum guidance

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong leadership capability

  • Strong controllership, process management, and process improvement capabilities

  • High Collaboration Skills and ability to work effectively across multiple functions in a complex, dynamic matrixed environment

  • Must demonstrate customer focus (internal and external)

  • Strong skillset in MS Office applications
