What you’ll achieve

As the North America Budget Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting end-to-end budget, vendor funding and planning processes for Dell’s US based B2B Marketing activities. To succeed within this role, the ideal candidate must have a solid background in budget, finance or accounting, project management and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This individual will support specific segments in NA Field and Partner marketing and all business units in the marketing budget process.

You will:

  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure plans align to key organizational priorities

  • Maintain master planning & budget documents, keeping up-to-date tracking in the system(s)

  • Manage timelines, targets and deliverables in adherence to the planning, budget and vendor funding processes

  • Manage inputs to the budget from marketing teams and hold a bi-weekly review to ensure that spend aligns to the plan

  • Identify and work to solve any process gaps through effective communication & collaboration with global planning team, vendor funding and/ or other marketing teams

  • Build templates, scorecards, dashboards on a quarterly basis

Essential Requirements

  • 5-8 years of related experience in a marketing operations function

  • Experience leading programs/projects across multiple teams

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into key learnings/impacts

  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment where the data required for a decision is not always available

  • Expert knowledge of Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and data quality checking ability

  • Working knowledge of budget management

  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to improve processes

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous experience with budget tools (i.e. Oracle, Ariba, other budgeting systems, etc.)

  • Project management experience

  • Ability to make the complex easy to understand
