Principal Service Delivery Engineer

What you’ll achieve
As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects.
Strong Knowledge of Implementation & Configuration of Enterprise Backup products. Advantage if experienced with Dell EMC Backup products i.e. Data Domain, Avamar, Networker, IDPA, DPA reporting
Serve as a specialist and collaborate with the Solution architect / Planning engineer and Project Manager to develop sound technical implementation & configuration plans and architectural design strategies
Develop and cultivate excellent customer relationships through negotiation, conflict resolution and crisis management
Contribute to the development of best practices through collaboration in team meetings
Provide technical implementation expertise for assigned engagements to optimize results for the customer, maintaining awareness of existing or potential customer software/hardware situations and ensuring operational excellence through quality closures as deemed necessary

Minimum 8+ years of related experience in a professional role
Should have strong backup product implementation, administration knowledge
Good understanding of IP networking skills
Solid writing skills and a proven ability to document processes
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Able to handle critical issues and work with the customer and stake holders to provide Services.
Understanding of project management principles and methodologies
Good understanding and experience of Virtualization
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Dell Proven Professional Certification
Experience of working in Professional Services
Any cloud vendor certification i.e AWS, Azure, GCP
Good knowledge on enterprise database applications like oracle, DB2
