The Modern Computing Solutions Group team delivers next-generation client solutions modernization and overall software and experiences modernization umbrella with focus on simplifying the entire client lifecycle experience with a goal of accelerating the delivery of as-a-service. What you’ll achieve
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing world-class software solutions that are high-performance, low-latency and high-reliable cloud applications using the latest tools and technologies and deliver next-generation client modernization solutions.
Contribute to design, develop and maintain high volume, highly scalable SaaS solutions
Take an active role in designing the front-end and back-end architecture
Develop cloud-native applications using the latest technologies and tools
Develop hosted web services and integration services
Participate in tool, library, and component review process
Generate technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests
Remain relevant with knowledge of industry and technology

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:
Engineering Degree in Computer Science + 2 years experience, Masters + 0 experience or 6 years of professional experience
Experience in developing RESTful services using one of the following languages: Golang, C#/.Net Core, and/or Java
Experience with data store integration (e.g. Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra
Experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies (SCRUM)
Experience with one or more public IaaS providers (Azure - preferred, AWS, Google Cloud)
Experience with Bitbucket, JIRA, and lifecycle/continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Artifactory)
Experience with static, dynamic and web analysis tools (e.g. CheckMarx, SonarQube, OWASP Zap, Clair Container)
Familiar with container and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD, (GitOps) best practices
Familiar with stream processing tools (Kafka, Spark), performance analysis, instrumentation and visualization tools (Promethues, Grafana, Kiali)
