Your knowledge of IT financing in areas such as IT Loans, Leases and Fair Market Value Leases can propel you to success as a Dell Financial Services’ Account Executive.


Responsible for obtaining and managing accounts, will work with our Software partner in securing financial services opportunities. Develop partnership between the Company and accounts through the coordination of sales, contracts, technical support teams, lease administration, Dell hardware and software sales, and Distribution/Channel partners. Perform long range planning. Responsible for increasing market/account penetration by assigned segment and/or geographic region, customer satisfaction and sales growth for long term results.


  • Develop and plan account strategies and activities for specified Partner and end user accounts; selecting accounts, identifying customer influences, overcoming objections, introducing IT financing and payment solutions, making sales presentations and negotiating deals

  • Provide customer and competitor feedback to management

  • Attend and participate in Business reviews, meeting customers as well as partner account executives and inside teams.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience

  1. Outstanding sales and presentation skills that can be delivered over the telephone or in person.

  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  3. Expert knowledge of leasing concepts, principles and practices

  4. General understanding of I/S industry and computer systems

  5. High PC literacy including advanced skills with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  6. Experienced user of CRM tools to document sales activities

  7. History of proven success in previous sales jobs.

  8. Prefer any combination equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field with a minimum of three to five (5-7) years of related experience. Channel or Leasing expertise strongly preferred.

  9. Experience working with Channel partners, direct and indirect sales and the ability to sell through channel sales reps.

  10. Able to gain loyalty from Channel partner sales reps and differentiate the DFS value proposition vs. the competitors.

  11. Travel is necessary based on the territory assignment and periodic corporate headquarters training will be required and would be approx. 30%+ of the job.

  12. Financial consultative selling is required
