We are a global, multi-billion-dollar corporation – and Accounting is vital to reflecting our earnings, profits, cash balances and other financial results. To meet this challenge, we implement best practices, provide general financial support, resolve queries, prepare reports and provide statistics. We also design policies and procedures that adhere to audit & compliance standards.
Monthly and Quarterly close activities including journal entry and reconciliation preparation
Maintain accuracy of sub-ledger data
Provide reports for internal and external purposes
Ensure internal and external audit requests are answered accurately & timely
Maintain control documentation and actively support team during control testing
As necessary, provide quality checks on certain documents created by the Corporate Reporting organization
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
3-5 years of professional accounting experience (Public accounting and/or publicly traded corporate accounting experience preferred)
Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a team environment and partner effectively
Strong understanding of US GAAP
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
Accounting system experience: Oracle, SAP, & Hyperion
