Job Title: Automation Architect

Location: Round Rock, Texas

DESCRIPTION

As part of the Microsoft Hybrid Cloud Team, you’ll help transform the hybrid cloud market by bringing together the best technologies from Microsoft and Dell EMC. This team is responsible for the Dell EMC Azure Stack integrated systems, the cloud applications designed to run on Azure, along with the Dell technologies that will deliver the best customer experience with Azure Stack.

Currently we are looking for an experienced Automation Architect with excellent communication skills to make our team even stronger.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Consult and implement a right-fit automation approach for Dell EMC's Azure Stack product.

Participate in an agile organization utilizing best practices for automation opportunities (accelerators, tools and partner's products)

Work closely with business in identifying solution requirements and key case-studies/scenarios for the future solution

Set direction for development scrum teams by utilizing proper coding methods and a standardized approach.

Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, including emerging ones that affect HCI and hybrid/public cloud.

Strong team player who can operate across functional boundaries, set standards and evaluate peer ideas.

REQUIREMENTS

Hands-on current experience authoring, building and adopting automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, back-end integration

Knowledge of JAVA, .NET, Powershell.

Familiar with Microsoft technologies, Azure.

Have participated in CI/CD agile teams.

Familiarity with JIRA.

Ability to utilize best practices, implement coding standards and ultimately define the road-map for automation needs within the Azure Stack product group.

Bachelors Degree

Experience Required:

5+ years of progressive and diverse IT experience
