The Dell Technologies OEM and IoT Division is seeking an analyst for our Business Intelligence team. This is a unique opportunity to grow with the evolving field of Embedded PCs and IoT while delivering significant business value to our marketing and sales teams. You will work as part of an agile, globally distributed team and engage with technology leaders from across the Dell organization to complete your mission.
Responsible for leveraging internal and external data sources to identify industry trends, develop competitive insight and provide decision support analysis to help guide Dell’s OEM and IoT businesses and marketing practices
Support the OEM/IoT marketing effort by helping campaign managers identify and target new and existing customers for relevant communication
Deliver ad-hoc data and report requests for business partners. Developing and executing various analyses and reports based on both internal and external data sources.
Should be able to utilize various software packages and tools for collecting, mining, interpreting and reporting data (Tableau, Excel, familiarity with ETL from databases).
Research key customer target industries using financial and business publications
Champion process improvements, best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization as it pertains to business intelligence, analytics and data integration capabilities.
Lead the ‘data side’ execution of OEM/IoT marketing efforts
BA/BS in business administration, technical or similar
Advanced analytical and business problem solving skills, including financial analysis ability
Advanced written, verbal and presentation skills
Strong Excel, PPT knowledge required, Tableau knowledge desired
5+ year of experience performing qualitative and quantitative analysis
5+ years in high tech industries
