Dell CEP Data Readiness and Quality Director in Round Rock, Texas

What you will achieve:

The CEP Data Readiness and Quality Director is responsible for leading a group of talented data experts to define the marketing customer data strategy, analyze customer trends deriving actionable insights and marketing effectiveness through directly managing the availability, enrichment and changing tides of contact availability globally. In this position the DRaQ will be responsible for transforming marketing’s customer and contact data leveraging the new database and growing marketing technology capabilities through modern techniques such as AI and extending the reach of the Dell Brand globally.

You will:

  • Responsible for the global data readiness of Marketing’s CEP database, this includes TAM (total addressable market), Buyer Base, Marketability and Availability

  • Understanding global market trends, laws and opportunities and putting them into action to create a competitive advantage for Dell

  • Manages Vendor relationships who supply 3rd party data, along with the strategy to manage the selection of this data and monitor its effectiveness

  • Responsible for identifying insight where improvements could be made at root cause for a more consistent and higher value source of data delivery / truth to support Field and CRM planning and KPI’s

  • Builds and communicates long-term development and succession plans

Essential Requirements

  • Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Typically requires 5+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skill in a B2B and CSB marketing or technology function (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Good understanding of technology and the role it can play in the new Digital world
