CloudIQ Product Management Consultant
An exciting opportunity for a self-starter to join a growing team with a charter to help the customers of Dell Technologies to make better, and faster decisions on their data center infrastructure through the use of predictive analytics.
CloudIQ makes daily IT management tasks easier with 24x7 insights to help you make better, faster decisions and save significant time and costs. Putting critical information at your fingertips with a desktop or mobile app, CloudIQ gives you the knowledge needed to expedite troubleshooting and stay ahead of business needs.
The CloudIQ product manager will focus on strategic integration with key 3rd party products like VMware and ServiceNow. Another area of focus will be on driving CloudIQ adoption through parallel campaigns and leveraging partnership with other product teams in Dell with shared goals for connectivity.
The CloudIQ product manager will be a key member of the CloudIQ core team. Working with engineering, program management, and marketing they will champion the voice of the customer and the voice of the field. CloudIQ development is grounded in CI/CD, so proven experience in Agile software development models and project management is strongly preferred.
What you’ll achieve
As a Product Management Consultant, you will identify new growth areas, technologies and emerging product/service opportunities. You will conduct in-depth market analysis to optimize existing products/solutions and build next generation products, partnering closely with the Engineering and Product Management teams to build a product road map and align product strategies for the business.
• Collaborate with Business stakeholders and Senior Engineers on design/creation/positioning for highly available and scalable products
• Use Lean Software Development processes such as Agile, Scrum and Kanban
• Author strategy docs, white papers, market research and vision documents along with user stories for current and future products
• Present strategic product communications across multiple stakeholder organizations
• Manage the entire product life cycle, prototyping and testing new features and changes to our product and processes

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:
5 years of experience in information technology (vendor or end-user)
3 years of experience in software product management
Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g. Jira) preferred
Technical understanding of the core hardware elements of the modern data center (e.g. compute, storage, network), and how IT operations teams manage them throughout their lifecycle
Strategic analysis and business modeling skills
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Project management skills
Attention to detail balanced with high level process overview/improvements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Strong presentation skills and effective communication to C-level leadership
AI Operations knowledge
MBA highly recommended
