Join us as a Transactional Operations Compliance and Audit Consultant on our Dell Financial Services team in Round Rock, TX or anywhere in the US (100% remote) to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.
What you’ll achieve
Responsible for internal audit, risk assessment and compliance of DFS Transactional (Consumer & Small Business) Operations against regulatory, financial and operational practices. Prepares independent audit plans and governs internal audits/reviews. Oversees the auditing activities of various departments for compliance with plans, policies and procedures prescribed by leadership. Governs and holds the business accountable for closed loop/corrective action and recommends that controls be implemented where appropriate.
Prepare independent audit plans, conducting internal reviews and establishing audit criteria,
Ensure full compliance with legislatively mandated initiatives from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to Sarbanes-Oxley.
Oversee the audits of diverse departments, reporting the results to leadership, recommending controls if appropriate, partnering to automate regulatory checks as applicable all to ensure our organization is a fully compliant success.
Ensure the business executes audits within established business process controls. Develops reports to communicate audit results to Ops leadership and makes recommendations as appropriate

10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 6+ years leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of risk identification, root cause analysis, developing solutions and recommendations
Ability to present complex ideas in simplified terms to executive-level audiences
Ability to critically assess and synthesize a wide array of facts, data and insights to arrive at strategic operations priorities and recommendations
Ability to identify required process changes and create or redesign processes
Ability to prioritize with strict deadlines
Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Results oriented, flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and team player
