Dell Consultant, Federal DCC Sales Strategy and Planning in Round Rock, Texas

From evaluating sales incentive plans to diagnosing sales force training needs, it’s about improving both the quality and quantity of sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

·MUST BE US CITIZEN

·Creates scenarios to analyze large amounts of data for coverage optimization and planning, as well as other key business insights including identifying route-to-market strategies, developing and creating weekly reporting

·Formulates predictive KPIs to help identify hot spots in business before they are reflected in financial data

·Manages coordination of communications and information with sales force and cross- functional organizations

·Identifies and brings key strategic issues and opportunities forward in a clear and structured way

·Leads large scale initiatives collaborating cross-functionally with sales leaders and other operational organizations

·Analyzes pipeline and business performance data to understand key issues affecting the business

·Serves as primary interface with the Server, Networking, and E&I COC teams

·Creates executive presentations for run the business and quarterly business reviews

·Collaborates with Quota Planning org to properly role out and manage the Federal DCC teams

·Provides governance and is co-responsible for Territory and Account Planning effectiveness (execution, quality, ROI)

·Communicates with reporting teams to ensure all reporting needs are being meet for Commercial team

·Provides sales teams insights through analytics through advanced problem solving, builds hypotheses and models potential decision paths and risk mitigation options

Essential Requirements

·10+ years of Sales Strategy experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

·Very strong understanding of business strategies and drivers, particularly in a sales organization

·Advanced Excel skills

·Tableau experience

·Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally at senior management level to lead and program manage collaborative efforts which drive sales productivity improvements

·Demonstrated ability to work with large sets of data, make the complex simple; demonstrated ability to develop and test hypotheses into potential solutions

Desirable Requirements

·Strong presentation and communication skills, and comfortable working with executive and senior leadership

·Knowledge of industry and business principles related to sales process and key indicators
