Consultant IT Architect

What you’ll achieve

As an Consultant IT Architect, you will be responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications and/or process designs for custom technical solutions. You will design, develop, and implement complete User Experiences to the enterprise-wide technical requirements of customers. You will work with the IT Architecture team to balance the needs of sales and delivery to design a solution that meets or exceeds the requirements of service delivery and ecosystem goals with regards to Performance, Accessibility, and Search Engine Optimization.

You will:

  • Have a solid grasp of user research, information architecture, interaction design, and content strategy, and be able to clearly communicate to teams and clients how those factors will influence the design processes and outcomes

  • Partner with various business teams in an organization to understand how the end user will interact with the platform, and then develops the structure and flow to make that possible.

  • Participates or leads in customer presentations at the senior executive level

  • Assist in crafting the strategic technical and architectural direction to the programming functions.

  • Acquire detailed specification from business users and development to ascertain specific output.

  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.

  • Adapt to constant technical changes and has a high degree of accountability, commitment and responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Optimize information architecture to promote usability, while accommodating technical needs/constraints

  • Lead cross-functional design sessions between Product, Engineering and Design teams

  • Prioritize roadmap features and product enhancement requests, specifically around UX

  • Craft internal and external communications around upcoming features, including release notes, user manuals, and feature descriptions

  • Implement complete User Experiences to the enterprise-wide requirements of the customer

  • Guiding overall ecosystem in achieving goals in Performance, Accessibility, and Search Engine Optimization

Essential Requirements

  • 12 year ply of professional UX Engineering, Development, and Architecture experience

  • Experience with managing complex large-scale implementations

  • In-depth practical experience in the latest Web Technologies, with a technology agnostic view of User Experience

  • Extremely good understanding of Microservices architecture and building scalable enterprise services.

  • Strong knowledge in the .NET framework, .NET Core, C#, REST, MVC, WCF and Web Services.

  • Hands on experience with NoSQL DBs (Elastic Search, Graph DB, Cassandra) and RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle)

  • Proficient in the event-based architecture with RabbitMQ, Kafka.

  • Experience in the working with CI/CD methodologies and tools.

  • Experience in building cloud-native services and working knowledge on AWS or Azure or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience working as part of a leveraged global implementation(s)

  • Microsoft C#.Net Core + Razor + View Components

  • Knowledge of Microservices and Micro-Front ends

  • Understanding of Object Oriented principles, patterns, and best practices
