We oversee initial plans, set budgets, track project activities and communicate milestones to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with the Transformation Program Office leadership to ensure the synergy and success of the program. The “Phase1” SDS KM Transformation Initiatives are:

  • Multi-Lingual Support and Globalization

  • Pre-GA, GA, GA+90 and GA+365 Governance and Closed-Loop Feedback

  • Communities and Forums

  • Knowledge Creation and Sharing

  • Guided Instruction

  • Multi-Media

  • Search Optimization

  • Ontology / Taxonomy / Natural Language Processing

  • Lead operational assessments of current practices by engaging all stakeholders across Support and Deployment Services, including (but not limited to):

  • Support Product Leads

  • SDS Support teams (Remote, Field, Customer Basic, Enterprise, eServices)

  • Services IT

  • Education Services

  • Information Design and Development / Globalization

  • Global Process Engineering

  • Aid in the definition and implementation of new processes and procedures to enable bi-directional knowledge sharing across Dell Technologies so as to optimize business and customer outcomes.

  • Collaborate with related / overlapping initiatives to ensure end-to-end alignment and continuity.

  • Lead the global, end-to-end implementation and adoption of the resulting recommendations.

Essential Requirements:

  • 10+ years of program and project management experience. PMP certification is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher – or equivalent work experience

  • Familiarity with product and IT development processes

  • Understands organizational Knowledge Management framework and operates in and around it appropriately.

  • Understands Knowledge Management tools and technologies and has the ability to use them.

  • Familiar with Knowledge Management process reviews and audits, and interprets the findings from the audits.
