What you’ll achieve
The Senior Analyst for Corporate and Brand Public Relations at Dell Technologies develops and executes public relations plans in support of Dell’s reputation and brand. The person in this role is responsible for supporting corporate and community pr in Austin, Texas, Dell’s hometown, with the goal of positioning Dell as a great place to work and a strong member of the local community. Additionally, the role is responsibility for PR for Brand sponsorships and general tech-enabled corporate storytelling that is inspiring, innovative and breaks through the noisy media landscape.
Identify, develop and execute breakthrough corporate narratives and stories sourced from a range of different internal teams and businesses units
Take a story idea from concept to execution and position so relevant in context of current media news cycle and landscape
Promote and protect Dell’s reputation in it’s HQ of Austin, Texas and amplify local sponsorships, Brand campaigns, and partner-led pr efforts
Manage media relationships, corporate talking points, FAQs associated with Brand programs
Work collaboratively with Public Relations, Community Relations, Government Affairs, Marketing, Brand, Analyst Relations and Social Media for overall programming and consistency of message

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field
Knowledge of the city of Austin and local community issues and media influencers
2-3 years of media relations, public affairs, corporate reputation, technology-related public relations experience
Strong skills in writing, editing, storytelling, messaging and presentation development, project management and problem solving
Able to partner with senior business leaders, HR, Brand and communications colleagues and outside agencies to drive and amplify strategic stories with media
Proven success in developing and executing effective public relations plans, mining for stories, and finding the hook
Experience interacting, building relationships and garnering credibility at all levels of a company, including with senior management
Experience identifying and measuring communications metrics
Agile, resourceful, and curiosity to navigate complex organization to find and develop engaging stories
Proactive, positive attitude, and growth mindset
Believe in and passionate about technology's ability to change the world for the better
