What you’ll achieve

As the Corporate Communications Consultant for our Client Solutions Group, you will be responsible for developing, managing and executing the internal and executive communication strategies for Dell Technologies' CSG leaders, including the heads of the Modern Computing Solutions Group (MCSG) and the Experience Innovation Group (EIG).

You will:

  • Develop the communication strategy and lead its implementation, tracking and measurement

  • Translate business strategy, initiatives and progress into messages and communications plans for internal and some external audiences

  • Develop communication materials that support the overall communication plan including (but not limited to): organizational announcements, video scripts, executive talking points, strategic messaging, thought leadership, presentations for quarterly town halls and roundtables

  • Support the development and execution of media, blog content and thought leadership for the CSG CTO

  • Regularly consulting with executive leadership, communication colleagues and other business partners to ensure strategic alignment, monitor and advise on communication efforts and manage business risks

  • Monitoring external factors and stakeholders to manage risks, ensure effective communications and enhance the company’s reputation

  • Maintain feedback mechanisms to keep a pulse on team member sentiment and ensure communications plan addresses specific concerns/needs

  • Work with P&O CTO communications lead to ensure consistency of innovation message across P&O and broader Dell Technologies storylines across internal and external platforms.

  • Identify new opportunities to amplify our innovation teams/team members and leadership and surface creative execution ideas

Essential Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of technology-related communications experience

  • Knowledge and experience with planning, implementing and measuring strategic communications

  • Comfortable providing strategic communications counsel to senior executives

  • Advanced understanding of multi-media platforms for executive storytelling, like blogs, video production, podcasts, social media and webcasts

  • Ability to operate in matrix organizations and manage multiple projects concurrently; comfortable working with remote colleagues and stakeholders; experience working across disciplines and geographies

  • Knowledge of and experience with as-a-Service, software and solutions, and change management communications a plus

  • Enjoys collaborating and working as part of a larger team

  • Ability to execute through times of change and uncertainty

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience developing compelling presentation materials

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred

  • Project, process and program management skills
