The successful candidate will serve as executive communications lead for the SVP & GM of OEM I Embedded & Edge, responsible for internal and external platform development for the organization.

The Corporate Communications Lead will create compelling content to support OEM I Embedded & Edge communications priorities, engaging internal and external audiences through a strategic and creative approach to vehicles including keynotes, podcasts, videos, blogs, emails and social/digital platforms. The Corporate Communications Lead will provide executives across the organization with strong strategic counsel on message development and delivery, and will work collaboratively with others on the Global Communications team, both global and regional, in support of broader narrative development and execution of PR/AR. The successful candidate will also be experienced in partnering with marketing teams and outside agencies to drive results.

The position reports to the Director of Partner GTM Communications for Dell Technologies. The role is global in scope, with responsibility for consistent execution in North America and coordinating campaigns and relationships in APJ, EMEA and LATAM.

Responsibilities:

  • Internal and external platform development for the OEM I Embedded & Edge Solutions organization, including content creation for keynote presentations, narrative development, scripting, blogs and podcasts

  • Engage and inspire audiences by taking a strategic and creative approach to communications vehicles

  • Bring OEM I Embedded & Edge strategy and priorities to life via thoughtful amplification and placement of select customer and partner stories

  • Work closely with global executive and marketing leadership to sequence communications cadence and ensure consistency and understanding of message

  • Partner strongly with PR and AR teams, and associated agency partners, to drive external visibility and results as aligned with Global Communications Framework and priority storylines

  • Work collaboratively with global communications regional team members and help direct and orchestrate global amplification of the program

  • Establish organizational alliances / partnerships with key stakeholders in various Product Groups and Business Units to align on overarching storytelling

  • Understand key business drivers and competitive dynamics to position business interests successfully and in a timely manner with target groups

Qualifications:

  • A degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Marketing or a related field is required, along with 5 - 7 years professional communications experience

  • The ideal candidate will have strong writing, editing, issue management, strategic planning, relationship-building, problem-solving and oral/written presentation skills

  • Experience with and mastery of internal communications, Sales communications, and commercial technology markets

  • Candidate must be organized, enthusiastic, results oriented, innovative and able to deal with ambiguity and tight deadlines while working effectively in a team environment

  • This is an individual contributor role (no people management)

  • Background in technology and communications required
