Data Science Lead for XaaS marketing

What you’ll achieve

As an data scientist, you will drive fast time to value marketing performance measurement solutions that result in real business outcomes, actions and decisions using big data technologies. Working with global marketing teams across marketing functions, you will drive transformation of marketing for as-a-service products (XaaS) through innovative measurement solutions, demonstrating their relevance and guiding optimization and automation in collaboration with marketing science development and support team members. You will:

  • Turn data into actionable insights, through rapid innovation, applying marketing data science to predict outcomes and establish KPIs for XaaS that enable and automate decisions on marketing activities.

  • Create and deliver on a marketing science roadmap, identifying new opportunities and prioritizing efforts

  • Lead discussions with internal business partners to diagnose, recommend and implement solutions that support analytics initiatives in multiple business areas to solve problems, answer questions and drive insights, by framing the problems, developing hypotheses, designing solutions including success and testing criteria.

  • Build relationships with key business partners and increase understanding and knowledge of their functions to enable adoption of solutions that optimize business outcomes, understanding and efficiency

  • Develop statistical techniques and data services with efficient, automated processes that meet business needs and enable scalable solutions

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing data science or similar role using data with a Bachelor’s degree or a related technical field

  • 3+ years of experience in predictive modeling, performance measurement and analysis, implementation of measurements such as CLV and CAC related to marketing for as-a-service products.

  • Subject matter expertise in marketing systems and their data, including Adobe Analytics, Google Campaign Manager, or similar systems and marketing areas (digital, media, ABM, CRM, campaigns)

  • Experience with programming languages (SQL, R, etc.), reporting and data exploration tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for use in analytics and insights, and data technologies such as Postgres, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, MS SQL Server/Analysis Services

  • Ability to integrate deep subject matter expertise with industry and professional experience to achieve strategic goals, influencing leadership decisions, mentoring team members, and leading large projects for teams.

Desirable Requirements

  • Agile/iterative development and project management experience, able to create reliable/maintainable code and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements
