Digital & Editorial Content Specialist

In collaboration with global creative leads, product marketing and online experience teams, you will be part of an organization delivering customer-centric experiences on Dell.com. You will be responsible for creating, optimizing and editing copy/content that educates and excites our audiences about Dell's products, solutions and services. In addition, you will enable content creators around the company to align to proven standards and practices for online content development.

The ideal candidate will have a record of success both leading and advising on multi-faceted projects. We are looking for creative thinkers who are passionate about innovating the user experience, have a knack for simplifying the complex and are energized by working in a collaborative team-based environment.

You will:

  • Collaborate with business subject matter experts by writing or editing content for products, solutions, services, and industries.

  • Compose content that helps to drive business goals and conversion aligned to KPIs per page type on web properties.

  • Ensure content complies with search engine optimization best practice with a consideration toward translation and globalization.

  • Craft content from high level messaging to detailed technical content that is aligned to a particular audience.

  • Communicate and instruct content creators on style guide, best web writing techniques, specifics to our web properties and guide them to build the best audience-centric web content experiences though smaller working sessions and larger scale team trainings.

  • Facilitate an easy self-service model to give businesses the best tools to have the right content in the right place on the right page.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 3+ years of relevant experience as a copywriter, technical writer, or copy editor.

  • Excellent two-way communication, collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

  • Proven grammar, punctuation and proofreading skills.

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and work on multiple projects at once with different stakeholders.

  • Keen eye for detail.
