Assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing marketing programs, Field Marketing at Dell is at the forefront of customer engagement. Responsible for a specific location, department or product, our teams drive marcom strategy – from making budget recommendations to defining roadmaps and informing content themes. Interacting directly with customers and utilizing third-party customer data, they provide Dell’s product marketing and messaging team with game-changing feedback. At the highest level, they develop and drive marketing policies and activities, from market research through brand management and product development to pricing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads, directs, implements and manages through first level managers

  • Collaborates with senior leadership to establish strategic plans and objectives

  • Makes final decisions on administrative or operational maters to ensure effective achievement of objectives

  • Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people

  • Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements

  • Responsible for developing strategic executive customer relationships in assigned geographies; develop and pilot strategies to increase revenue opportunities

Essential Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proven ability to lead a Global team with world-wide influence

  • Advance negotiation skills

  • Typically 14+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Desirable Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience developing and driving service strategies and operational plans

  • Understanding of Dell Services Sales process

  • Typically requires 7+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skill (or equivalent experience)
