Dell Global Program Manager Director in Round Rock, Texas
Dell’s Global Program Management has been introduced to provide international customers with a defined point of Global/Regional co-ordination and escalation. Each region has a team of Program Managers who interact with both the customer and respective Dell employees to facilitate the smooth day-to-day experience of doing business with Dell on a Regional and International basis. Expectation of the selected leader is to manage this customer facing, global, fee-based team leveraging PMI and/or Six Sigma Black Belt principles.
Be SME for Dells Global Capabilities enabling support of International Accounts.
Be an advocate for our customers, sales teams and the Global Customer Program team members.
Ensure Global Governance of HQ Agreed/Contracted pricing & Services at a local level by coordinating other Regional Program managers
Develop appropriate level relationships with key account contacts, organize and attend Global Account reviews on a quarterly basis. Understand, at a detailed level, the customer’s regional business needs and together with other regions & Account Mangers construct an account strategy.
Manage named accounts and ensure that they are kept informed of any key changes in Dell’s Global Capabilities which may affect they way we support them. Collaborate with DELL global sales team highlighting any information relating to the account (product transition, faulty components, shortage, pricing)
Strong relationship skills and exceptional relationship building skills at the sales leader, sales maker, customer and cross-functional team leader/member level.
Request, check & distribute customer reports. Manage agreed customized reports or pricing catalogues required by your assigned accounts.

Working knowledge of the cultural environment in multiple countries
Developed many internal and some customer relationships in multiple regions.
Qualified in Project Management (CAPM, PMP), MBA or Black Belt equivalent
Minimum 5 years of managing a globally-oriented team.
Minimum 4 year College Degree.
Ability to tactfully negotiate with customers and defuse escalations.
Candidates will have a proven track record of dealing with customers on an International basis, be able to demonstrate high levels of cultural awareness
