Dell’s Benefits team is seeking an experienced marketing communications professional to market Dell’s total rewards experience to team members around the world. The goal: improve team members’ perception of and satisfaction with their rewards and increase overall engagement.
In this newly-created role, you will lead, develop and manage integrated marketing communications across a range of programs including pay, benefits, and well-being support. Your efforts will help team members understand and appreciate their total rewards and take full advantage of all the opportunities available to them. You will join an established team of global and U.S. benefits professionals with close working relationship to Dell’s Marketing team. To be successful, you must be self-motivated and flexible with strong leadership skills and broad marketing communication experience. Dell’s fast-paced culture will require you to assess and revise priorities continually, so being adaptable is a key requirement.
Lead the development and maintenance of a strategy to market Dell’s team member value proposition and the total rewards that reflect the value proposition.
Oversee the execution of consumer-grade marketing communication deliverables across a broad range of content and channels, providing constant leadership to ensure consistency.
Act as a leader within the Benefits team, constantly bringing new ideas and strategies that challenge the norms.
Develop creative solutions employing multiple channels—balancing corporate brand guidelines with the technical requirements of Benefits information and the goal of delivering a compelling team member experience.
Bring a point of view on how to measure communication and marketing efforts against perception and engagement goals.
Partner with Dell stakeholders (Benefits, Compensation, Marketing, HR, Talent and Culture, Corporate Communication and Brand) to ensure alignment on key initiatives.
Take ownership in executing the wide range of tasks necessary to accomplish goals
At least 10 years of experience in marketing corporate, internal or benefits/HR communications preferably in a large, matrixed organization.
Background in marketing communications or creative/design agency preferred.
Experience leading and implementing progressive employee communication and engagement programs.
Strategic thinker with proven ability to drive communication from inception to completion.
Ability to lead the partnership with Dell’s Marketing team on the strategic positioning and execution of the Dell team member total rewards experience and team member value proposition.
Demonstrated experience building rapport, credibility and influence with stakeholders at all levels—including top business leaders and HR partners. Superior collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Track record of staying on top of project status and resources while leading with vision and anticipating challenges.
Ability to connect business needs and audience preferences and create compelling messages that resonate at all team member levels.
Flexibility to work virtually across geographies and time zones.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
A working knowledge of all communications mediums, including print, email, web and video.
