The NA Consumer GTM Marketing team is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all marketing strategies, communications and initiatives that generate demand to hit the quarterly / yearly financial plans. This includes driving calls to the call center and visits to Dell.com resulting in revenue, unit and margin attainment, as well as driving general brand awareness with best-in-class creative and media planning.

This role represents a unique opportunity to own the strategy, transformation and execution of social media across NA Consumer, Small Business and Gaming. This person will work closely with other cross-functional areas to provide comprehensive marketing plans for the year/quarter including Creative, Production, Merchandising and the Media Agency to design and execute campaigns.

This role is critical to the long term success of the NA marketing organization and requires a person who is creative, collaborative, results-driven and has a passion for social media. We are looking for an innovative thinker with experience in building media strategy, developing media plans, managing budgets, delivering KPIs, driving innovation, and leading cross-functional efforts.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop long term vision and quarterly strategies/tactics for Social Media

  • Bring latest best practices and market insights to internal teams

  • Manage quarterly/weekly budget, forecast, and key KPIs

  • Drive innovative creative customized for various social platforms and targeting across platforms

  • Analyze, diagnose, and optimize program performance

  • Build quarterly/weekly campaign or product creative assets

  • Manage vendor funding process

  • Manage agency teams

  • Manage organic social requests from US CSB

  • Manage Twitter @DellHome account, including posting and moderating

  • Manage any excursion situation on social media related to US CSB

  • Lead social media monitoring during key sales periods, such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related area plus 10+ years of experience in marketing with a track record of measurable results preferably in the consumer electronics/retail marketing or IT industry/technology

  • Strong execution, communication, and presentation skills

  • Passionate about driving innovation

  • Structured, detail oriented and analytical approach to problem solving

  • Ability to work well with others in a matrixed environment

  • Ability to manage budget, forecast, KPIs

  • Ability to manage through ambiguity to drive results

  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing and social media preferred

  • Analytical curiosity and self-driven to understand marketing performance through data
