Principal Software Engineer - IT

What you’ll achieve

As we expand our cloud platform, we are currently seeking experienced SREs who bring fresh ideas, demonstrates a unique and informed viewpoint, and enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop positive user experiences at every interaction.

You will monitor and ensure uptime of mission critical cloud applications using the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.

You will:

  • Take a holistic view of system health and build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications

  • Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve

  • Provide operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications

  • Gather and analyse metrics to assist in performance tuning and fault finding

  • Partner with development teams to improve services, participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science with 8 to 12 years of experience

  • Strong programming experience in Java, SpringBoot, MicroServices, Restful APIs and scripting

  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and with distributed storage technologies like NFS, HDFS

  • Strong experience in deploying and managing applications in AWS/Azure/GCP, DevOps, CI/CD

  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

  • Hands-on with NoSQL like, Mongo, Redis and Elastic

  • Experience in performance tuning, resolving scalability related issues at server side.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience building UI/UX using Angular, React

  • Knowledge / Experience on Python, AI/ML
