What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Product Marketing Specialist, you will own and project manage product marketing initiatives, working closely with other members of marketing, sales and product management

You will:

• Own the creation of sophisticated marketing results

• Develop press review guides and presentations, as well as conducting press tours for new product launches

• Lead and drive development, product management and sales to manage product life cycle

Essential Requirements

• Experience in product marketing: assessing market requirements, investigating new technologies, developing recommendations for technical product direction, establishing plans as well as strategies and roadmap plan-of-records

• 8 to 12 years of related experience

• Good understanding of the competition

• Proficiency in technical illustration

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• Understanding of products and their value to the customer

• Ability to influence others to achieve results and to work effectively with senior management

Dell is currently hiring a Product Consultant for the Charging Cart category on the NA Client Peripheral team. Location is our Round Rock, TX campus. As part of the Americas Client Peripherals team, this position is responsible for meeting overall objectives and business metrics associated with the Charging Cart category. The PLM will work cross functionally with multiple teams including but not limited - Sales, Merchandising, Marcom, Finance, S&P Operations, Product Group, General Procurement, On-Line, PR and the Global Marketing Teams.

  • Own and maximize the P&L for the Charging Cart category

  • Provide financial guidance for Charging Carts, achieve financial targets by building and executing category business plans for assigned category

  • Eco System Management- Collaborate with Merchandising and the Commercial EAP teams to manage proper assortment

  • Road Map Management – Launch new products and categories and transition out of EOL product communicating to ISR’s and internal stakeholders

  • Work with and develop PLM’s on Client Peripheral team

  • Subject Matter Consulting: will be available to Dell's sales force as a subject matter expert on the related products, from overall technology to specific solution consulting.

  • Act as technical "go-to" resource, answering technical and non-technical questions related to product set.

  • Pipeline Management and Large Deal Engagement - must be willing to help support in a technical/sales capacity to help close large opportunities and identify opportunities.

  • Develop MDF programs and execute Sales and Marketing strategies/activities to accelerate revenue growth for the category.

  • Ensure Product availability across the region: Product launch, create content and all relevant sales messaging. Ensure up-to-date product info is available.

  • Coordinate and develop training - utilize in-depth product knowledge to train Sales Representatives.

  • Attend, contribute and organize sales events and articulate product line value proposition, technical details, and other applicable information to Sales Representatives.

  • Work closely with Center of Competency (CoC) partners, Sales, Segment marketing teams, Business Management, Marcom, On-Line, Operations and Finance Teams to ensure seamless execution of product offering and business growth
