Dell Product Marketing, Sr. Advisor – Intel APOS Product Line Manager in Round Rock, Texas

Success in this role will depend on the self-starter that takes ownership of the role; driving cross-functional initiatives that enhance Dell's ability to articulate the core value of Dell Upgrades and how they align to Dell's core strategy.

  • Proactively promote mindshare of Intel with Dell sales makers

  • Represent Intel at internal and field sales events as needed

  • Coordinate and deliver training to Dell sales teams on how to best position Intel APOS Upgrades

  • Work with cross-functional teams (services, marketing, sales, etc.) to position solution offerings appropriately

  • Assist Dell sales teams with customer facing conference calls & presentations

  • Pipeline development and tracking

  • Provide operational support (order escalation, reporting, etc.)

  • Pricing governance and GTM strategy for distribution.

  • Organization and communication on supply challenges and provide updates to the appropriate teams in marketing and sales.

  • Review demand plans with PLM team and discuss any demand generation activities such as promotions that could impact the supply. Drive communication back to the demand supply organization on potential forecast challenges.

  • Implement product training, sales matrix, and collateral.

  • Create revenue planning profiles using customer behavior such as seasonality and segment forecasting.

  • Ensure new product forecast aligns with product RTS and communicate updates to the sales organization.

  • Drive improved profitability and customer satisfaction through EOL management and last time buy forecasting.

  • Manage supply challenges by creating recovery plans to mitigate excess or demand shape from shortages. Communicate plans to marketing PLM teams and demand supply / procurement organizations.

  • Analyze market trends and incorporate into the sales demand planning process.

  • Analytical skills to make decisions based on data for YOY, QOQ, seasonality, lifecycle trends, MARCOM, sales contest, and pricing changes.

  • Point of contact for sales organization to manage and effectively communicate part shortages and lead-times.


  • A Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of work experience including 5+ years of Marketing, Sales or Finance experience. MBA Preferred + 5 years’ work experience.

  • Proficient in EXCEL.

  • Ability to balance complex projects with tactical needs.

  • Strong communication skills with peer groups.

  • Strong ability to prioritize projects and priorities.

  • Focus on Customer Experience and drive for results.

  • Drives strategy: contribute to strategic decision making that drives the organization.
