Technical Program Management Consultant

Our Technical Program Management professionals lead cross-functional product teams to develop and manage new & existing products and solutions. It’s about making sure we offer customers the right features, experience, quality, schedule, cost, continuity of supply, service capability and financials. It’s about driving everything from definition through to planning, development, launch and sustaining across global development centers and multiple lines of business.

What you’ll achieve

As a Technical Program Management Consultant, you will drive the governance and management for portfolio complexity optimization for the Dell Technologies Storage Portfolio. Working closely with the Product Development teams, sales and other technical support groups in cross-functional teams, you will manage the Storage Portfolio Complexity Optimization.

You will:

  • Manage and own Complexity Management Team Structure & Framework for the Dell Technologies Storage Portfolio

  • Manages Complexity Management core team & weekly/monthly & quarterly interlocks & meetings

  • Manages & measures CFG & part count vs. targets

  • Consolidates data summary reports for decision-making

  • Collaborates with Global Operations to identify Complexity Optimization opportunities and targets

  • Drives closure of proposals & decision making for EOL targets

  • Ensures quarterly execution of planned EOL dates

  • Sets and confirms checkpoints for customer & sales notifications (411’s)

  • Owns list of CFG/parts adds for tracking performance

  • Creates Presentations & Dashboards for Exec Reviews

  • Reports out regular status updates to Product Management VP & Senior Executive Management

  • Develop common-sense solutions to complex business problems through in-depth investigation, coordination and collaboration with key decision makers

Essential Requirements

• 12–15 years of related experience in product development processes, product/solution areas and customer needs and usage

• Ability to manage cross functional teams to optimize portfolio complexity offers

• Capability to clearly communicate technical matters and build relationships with decision makers

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
