Dell Sales Internship (Summer 2019) in Round Rock, Texas

Using a combination of inside sales skills, customer service, and analytical thinking, this person will be accountable for delivering technical solutions, products, and/or services that address customer needs of varying complexity. Expected to leverage cross-functional resources and learn the full range of Dell Services offerings to achieve results, maintain customer relations, and close sales opportunities. This person will receive regular coaching and mentoring from experienced senior representatives and will be exposed to the inner workings of sales operations gaining insight on how customers’ needs drive Dell's sales process.


• Identify customer needs/requirements and recommend the appropriate products and solutions

• Drive inbound/outbound calls, emails and web interface to focus on maintaining and expanding business relationships with new and existing customers

• Interact regularly with sales team and/or customers

• Provide support to the field sales leader with all sales internal resources, in both strategy and executions

• Remain up to date on new product, technology, and services offered

• Proactively identifying significant ways to improve customer service

• Responsible for handling customer's inquiries

• Sell a defined set of products and services

• May own account sets and/or be called into accounts as opportunities are identified


Awareness of market conditions and competitors' brand

• General understanding of Dell EMC products

• Work effectively in a team environment

• Manage time and prioritize effectively; demonstrate an ability to cope with a complex and changing environment
