Dell Senior Advisor, Sales Operations in Round Rock, Texas
Support sales organization through customer, operational and business support. Responsible for serving as primary interface between sales and other operational functions developing sales processes and procedures relating to online/offline order administration, order fulfillment and communication. Evaluates and implements improvements to sales programs and processes including: anticipating demands, account management, leads, planning and prioritization, closing strategies, pricing and margin strategies, sales automation, tools and reporting programs.
Leads programs by working cross-functionally at multiple levels within the organization (senior leadership, sales, HR comp, finance, and marketing) to clarify, address, and set in motion a solution to meet project deliverables and address strategic business initiatives.
Researches customer or sales problems, and delivers innovative solutions working cross-functionally to resolve.
Drives key initiatives and support rollout and implementation of long-term growth plans and profitability objectives.
Participates in projects that include analysis and recommendations related to emerging industry trends, competitive threats, viability of outside business partners, internal business performance and business process improvement.
Applies analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex situations/ problems using multiple sources of information. Strategically evaluates & identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels. Implements improvements to sales programs and processes.
Provides pre-sales and/or post-sales operational support.
May serve as primary interfaces with other internal functions, based on BU and/or regional requirements.
Responsible for influencing sales behavior and capabilities.
Independently develops solutions that are thorough, practical, and consistent with functional or customer objectives.
Communication in English required for this role.
Advanced ability to collaborate across multiple large teams simultaneously.
Able to multi-task to manage both tactical and strategic work streams relating to area of responsibility over a function and/or region.
Strong understanding of sales and operational processes, ability to identify gaps and propose and implement new processes.

- 8-10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Understanding of Dell business priorities, strategy and direction
