Senior Data Scientist, Global Process Engineering (Remote work, from within U.S.A.)

Key Responsibilities

You will be key to our success in Global Process Engineering, working closely with the business, including stakeholders and essential partners internally across Dell Technologies to design, build and productionize end-to-end Machine Learning solutions & products for our business and customers across our global Services organization.

You will:

  • Evaluate and build proofs of concept (POC) for new projects/ use-cases; and break down the project into smaller data science modules

  • Design & build scalable, efficient & automated processes for large-scale data analysis, Machine Learning model development, model validation and servings

  • Lead team in stakeholder presentations & deliver projects on time with a long-term focus, utilizing and leading the team in friendly, professional and effective communications with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and professionals

  • Provide technical leadership & guidance on industry standards in solving business problems leveraging Machine Learning

Essential Requirements

  • 12 years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8 years with a Master’s or 5 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience; Experience to include :

  • Data Science experience in all stages of project life cycles: design & deploy Machine Learning models (in production), and Machine Learning techniques including Ranking, Classification, Clustering, Regression, Topic Modeling

  • Experience and deep Database knowledge, including hands on SQL expertise

  • Programming skills to retrieve, analyze and process data, and build Machine Learning models from the ground up; including Python programming experience

  • Deep knowledge of Machine Learning, information retrieval, data mining, statistics, NLP or related field

  • Familiarity with Agile practice
