What You’ll Achieve:

In this individual contributor role as an Senior Hardware Development Manager, you'll work directly with customers and sales teams to understand their customization needs and scope the effort required to deliver the solution. Every day will be a new challenge as you work with customers from multiple verticals to achieve their goals. We are looking for candidates that have a broad background, enabling them to solve a variety of customer challenges.

You will:

  • Effectively communicate with customer and sales teams on potential custom solutions to solve problems for our customers.

  • Be able to work across the Dell Technology portfolio of products - every day will bring a new opportunity to learn.

  • Evaluate a customer request, estimate time, cost, and resources required to deliver.

  • Work with extended teams like thermal, system engineering, shock & vibe, and regulatory to ensure delivery of the solution.

  • Effectively manage multiple projects.

Essential Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

  • Ability to work within CAD and schematic capture tools.

  • Effective communication and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Strong knowledge of system architecture and system level integration.

  • Ability to work with Dell development teams across the different lines of business and with suppliers to develop custom solutions.
