Looking for an exceptional and highly motivated Software Development Engineer to join our Services IT team and provide sustenance development and L3 application support for mission critical applications within The Dell Federal Network.
As a member of this team, you will get to play a key role in sustaining applications supporting operations to fulfill orders.
Handle day to day sustaining operations in a level 3 manner on the Dell Federal Network with limited guidance.
Provide L3 application support for critical applications on the Dell Federal Network.
Responsible for stability, performance and scalability for multiple applications with various technologies.
Respond to escalations from operational and leadership teams.
Be on call to provide support during weekends for critical production issues.
A United States Citizen
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Applications or related field of study, plus 2-3 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, Software Consultant, Software Development Advisor or related occupation.
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnostic skills
Sense of urgency. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and adaptive.
Good understanding on some of the basic networking concepts
Strong understanding on database (SQL server) concepts, SQL queries, stored procedures etc.
Good understanding on load balancers
