What you’ll achieve:

As the leader of Cloud Services Product Management, you will play a pivotal role as the technical/domain expert who manages the external roadmap for the product, related solutions and competitive differences. Partnering closely with ISG and APEX teams, you will be responsible for developing and executing all aspects of Services elements required to drive aaS. Working cross-functionally, you will drive alignment across the sales, services, engineering and marketing functions to deliver solutions for the customer. Gathering customer insights and feedback, you will infuse this learning back into the organization and product area roadmap, ensuring effective product launches and differentiated features. In this capacity, you will serve as a trusted advisor for large/strategic customers, building and maintaining strong C-suite customer relationships. From a leadership perspective, in this position you will lead, manage, and mentor a team of highly talented Product Managers to develop compelling product value propositions, including pricing, packaging and channel.

You will:

  • Lead independently and drive the end to end strategy and operational product roadmap for a complex set of Cloud Services product portfolio.

  • Manage multiple teams dedicated to proactively building reliability into Apex Cloud services

  • Ensure alignment of SRE toolsets and solutions with overall Dell standards for Cloud

  • Partner with solution-specialists at product-level to drive requirements for vertical/horizontal solutions. Assist Training/Enablement teams in training technical sellers.

  • Create and drive goal alignment and collaborates across one or more products' value chain partners to optimize margins and enable success of products per plans across the product lifecycle. (i.e. ISG, Engineering: product development, Supply Chain: SKUs, inventory and Marketing: marketing and pricing strategies and Go To Market Plan).

Essential Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, technical degree, or equivalent work experience

  • You have 18+ years of experience in software/cloud product management, product marketing or related technical roles.

  • You have experience launching cloud solutions, operating in an entrepreneurial environment, and scaling emerging products.

  • You have experience translating commercial business models into technical solutions. Experience working with executive clients/partners.

  • Expert knowledge of infrastructure management at cloud scale, including IaaS, PaaS.

Desirable Requirements

  • You have experience working in an enterprise technology setting, bringing both demonstrated expertise in public clouds around large enterprise workloads (ERP, ML/AI, Big Data, HRM, etc), cloud infrastructures, and an understanding of the cloud market and competitive dynamics/customer adoption behavior.

  • You possess deeper technical understanding and knowledge of the IAAS/PAAS/SAAS platforms including Kubernetes and the container ecosystem

  • You understand the public and hybrid cloud market dynamics and competitive landscape, ranging from service differentiations to consumption models.

  • You have deep understanding of optimal cloud services consumption experience and have visions for delivering the best possible self-service and managed-service experience to customers.
