Sr Manager - IT Product and Program Management-Remote

What you’ll achieve
Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.
Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.
Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
Leverages technology resources in driving the team toward the appropriate design of the solution.
Organizes intra- and inter-organizational activities ensuring completion of the product/program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.
Leads the communication with all appropriate extended teams and ensures they are informed and in agreement with all activities needed for the product/program/project/solution to succeed.
Participates in discussions around product lifecycle, evolution, and development.
Responsible for the leadership and management of program execution.
Leads process improvement initiatives.
Stays informed and knowledgeable of current and future technology/engineering trends within area of responsibility.
Analyzes and addresses gaps in product capabilities.
Collaborates with other Product Managers, BU Leaders to align product strategies into comprehensive portfolios for the BU.
Acts as a creative thinker who can enable the team to think outside the box to make difficult trade-off decisions on features, functionalities and roadmap.

Manages workload and commitments of product managers
Develops and establishes operational policies within area managed
May participate in development of functional strategy
Plans and directs resource schedules as well as project budgets
Participates in the development of overall objectives and long-term goals of the organization including business case development
Responsible for defining and realizing key metrics as goals for a product portfolio, across potentially multiple products
Typically 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Typically requires 4+ years managerial/leadership experience
