Our customers’ system requirements are usually highly complex. Bringing together hardware and software systems design, Server Comms & Accelerators Engineering operates at the very cutting edge of technology to meet them. We design and develop embedded and peripheral communications and accelerator products, conduct feasibility studies on engineering proposals and prepare specifications and instructions. We’re proud to deliver programs and products to the highest quality standards, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Our team delivers communication and accelerator devices for Dell servers. We work with the leading technology partners in the industry on Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Infiniband and Omnipath devices, as well as FPGA- and ARM-based accelerators.

  • The Sr. Manager leads a team of engineers delivering these products.

  • Maintains strong relationships with technical partners.

  • Collaborates with Marketing, Procurement and other Engineering teams.

  • Provides technical oversight of team members' activites

Essential Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, EE or CS preferred

  • 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • 4+ years of technical leadership experience

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience designing or testing Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Infiniband or Omnipath devices, or FPGA- or ARM-based accelerators.

  • Experience developing servers or their subsystems

  • Vendor management and negotiation experience
