We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Security & Resiliency Strategy Consultant within the Strategy, Communications and Training team. This role will report to the SRO Director of Strategy & Communications. The Security & Resiliency Strategy Consultant will utilize a broad-based skillset to manage the strategic planning cycle for the Security & Resiliency office, relying on comprehension of organization design and mission support, process improvement, strategy development and transformation, change management, and business and IT strategy. This role will work closely with all security domains (i.e. cybersecurity, supply chain security, product and application security, physical security, and enterprise resiliency) and support services to set annual and multi-year strategic plans and cascade the strategy through project and budget planning.
The Security & Resiliency Strategy Consultant will participate in projects that include analysis and recommendations related to emerging industry trends, threat and risk landscape, changes in regulation, security technology, measures and metrics, and business process improvement. This role will assist Security & Resiliency leaders with developing business cases for new and enhanced initiatives and transformation efforts. On an ongoing basis, the Strategy Consultant will investigate and research existing and new opportunities which contribute to the overall strategic direction of the office.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages annual and multi-year Security & Resiliency strategic planning process resulting in a strategic plan that is easily understood and applied
Works with the communications team to develop presentations and briefing documents to effectively communicate the strategy and key strategic initiatives to all parts of the company
Supports development of business cases, applies strategic considerations to ensure alignment to the strategic plan and key initiatives and coordinates closely with program management and budget teams
Collaborates with the metrics analytics team to create and measure KPIs and KRIs on execution of the strategic plan
Continuous participation and partnership with other departments and businesses within Dell, and building/managing relationships across Dell to ensure alignment of Security & Resiliency key initiatives with key stakeholders (i.e. IT, Legal, HR, etc.)
Bachelor's degree with 12+ years relevant experience; or Master's degree with 8+ years experience; or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience related to corporate strategy, strategic planning and analytics in technology and/or security industry
Experience conducting maturity and gap assessments against industry standards (i.e. NIST CSF, ISO, etc.) and developing roadmaps to achieve target state
Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to connect business objectives and Security & Resiliency strategy
Ability to discuss and present complex strategic topics at a senior management level
Strong project management and organizational skills to deliver projects aligned with corporate initiatives
Solid analytical, presentation, interpersonal, negotiation and written/verbal skills
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical ability to conduct structured strategic analysis
