  • Provides specialty client expertise to our Federal Government customers, focusing on Dell's Precision Workstations, Rugged Mobility, Cloud Client and Large Format Displays

  • Viewed as a trusted business advisor for Client Specialty Products

  • Identifies customer needs/ requirements, and recommends the appropriate client products and solutions

  • Remains up-to-date on new client product, technology, and services offerings

  • Stays current on industry and vertical solutions as well

  • Assists in the on-going technical education and development of the broader team

How your experience will help you hit the ground running:

  • Provides direction and guidance/mentor to team members, coaches others in closing the most complex deals

  • If account/acquisition focused, individual responsible for highest revenue spend in business and/or account complexity within assigned business

  • Fully adept in products and services

  • Advanced level specialized sales representative, influencing how others engage and interact across the segment

  • Advanced understanding of subject matter

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government personnel security clearance; active clearance preferred

  • 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent of work experience + education

  • Technical level knowledge of workstations and computing technologies

  • 3+ years previous quota carrying sales experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and think analytically
